About the grapes
Valevino Cha Cha Cha is a blend of Franconian Blue and Pinot Noir grapes which give the wine a beautiful dark red color. The grapes are grown in clay-rich soil. To achieve the perfect taste, the grapes are harvested at full maturity and aged for 6 months in oak barrels.

Valevino Cha Cha Cha was made at a family vineyard with history spanning several generations in the Prekmurje region in Slovenia. The winery is located above the town of Lendava in Lendavske Gorice, where there has been a centuries-long tradition of viticulture. It is located in the most northeastern wine-growing region in Slovenia - between Austria, Hungary, and Croatia. On the vineyard, there is a pesky little badger who likes to cause trouble and has been known to enjoy the grapes from time to time.
The winemakers, Darko and Andrej are the ultimate father-son duo. Andrej has a background in engineering but decided to pursue winemaking. The tradition of wine-making in their family is old, but Darko and Andrej are constantly innovating and modernizing.
